https://revista.isced-hbo.co.ao/ojs/index.php/rop/article/view/224

“Education and politics” is the title of this work that aims to study the close connection between education and politics, or the art of organizing society. In fact, the more education there is, the better a society is structured. A reminder of the pretensions that many people have to think they understand politics, forgetting that it requires well-founded knowledge, in fact it is also a science. Education professionals are the builders of society and must accept the challenge of knowing the truth. Important concepts are presented that can help understand the reality addressed. Expert views can lead to this goal. The research is centered on four fundamental points: 1. Education and the role of the teacher. An attempt is made to show the great importance of education in any society and also the great role of the teacher; 2. What is politics? This approach shows the man who wants to know more about the reality in which he lives, realizing that he must organize such a world; 3. What means does politics have at its disposal? We want to make people understand the importance of the norms that any society approves as instruments for good social coexistence; and, 4. Power. Central theme when it comes to politics, as it also addresses government issues. The work ends with a short Conclusion, after having presented an Introduction at the beginning. The method in evidence is fundamentally bibliographic with reasoned incidences from the author.
ALFREDO VIEIRA

The present study aims to analyze and present the main teaching models for the basic operations of Mathematics for students aged 5 to 12 years old, through an integrative review, in order to understand the different pedagogical approaches used to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in this age group. To achieve this objective, an integrative review of the literature was conducted, which consists of a comprehensive analysis of relevant scientific studies related to the topic, consulting academic databases such as EduCAPES, Google Scholar, focopublicacoes, and Scielo, using specific keywords such as "model," "model of teaching basic operations," and "teaching Mathematics in the early years." From the analysis of the 4,600 articles consulted, several effective models for teaching the basic operations of Mathematics to students aged 5 to 12 were identified. Among the most promising teaching models are the combined teaching model, the use of educational games, manipulative materials, contextualized problem-solving strategies, personalized teaching, and the use of technology. Therefore, these models are efficient and fit the context in which the authors of this work are involved, and their adoption or implementation can contribute to improving the teaching of the basic operations of Mathematics for students aged 5 to 12, taking into account the context, characteristics, and individual differences of the students.
Alberto Sousa SanganjoLuís Francisco Vinhanga

https://revista.isced-hbo.co.ao/ojs/index.php/rop/article/view/229

The re-education/rehabilitation process represents an extremely important working tool in the context of the social reintegration of prisoners. The present work aims to analyze the offender's view of the process of rehabilitation/re-education of people deprived of liberty. It should be noted that the authors who served as theoretical support for the preparation of the investigation are: Bernadétte Beber, Edgar Morin, Cristiano Cândido, Domingos Cambuta, Francisco José Scarfó, Michel Foucault, Cleber Prodanov and Ernani de Freitas and Ezequiel Ander-Egg. The research was carried out with individuals deprived of liberty who committed property crimes. The sample selected for the research included 67 male participants admitted to the Cambiote prison in the province of Huambo/Angola. The method used is qualitative in nature, and the research instrument was the questionnaire. The results showed that participants recognize that the re-education/rehabilitation process offered by the penitentiary system is normal, however, many of the inmates with crimes against property do not have real mastery of the various support areas that encompass the department responsible for re-education, the which somehow makes it difficult for you to engage in this process.
Paula LundungoFerreira Paquissi

This text aims to reflect critically on the principle of justice as fairness in John Rawls as well as on some ethical-social challenges that are imposed by such a vision. It looks at equitable justice as the basis and guarantee of citizens' fundamental rights and liberties. But it calls attention to the ethical-cultural problems that such a vision may raise. The aim is to show that what is fair or legal in one culture may not be in another that is not democratic.
Gregório de Jesus Tchikola

https://revista.isced-hbo.co.ao/ojs/index.php/rop/article/view/238

Monitoring diseases in wild plants and animals is crucial to measuring the success of environmental policies and management in Ecuador, and it is also presented as an invaluable educational tool. Its effective implementation not only prevents the spread of diseases and protects biodiversity, but also serves as an academic basis to raise awareness and train future generations of scientists and citizens committed to sustainability. The study aims to synthesize the causes of the appearance of diseases in wild plants and animals and evaluate the impact of climate change on ecosystems, to develop educational and research programs in the Amazon region of Ecuador. As part of the methodology, reliable and relevant sources of information were selected from specialized databases, which allowed not only to identify relevant studies, but also to pose specific educational challenges around disease monitoring. Ecuador, being a megadiverse country, offers a perfect setting for students and academics to actively participate in epidemiological surveillance, sample collection, and laboratory testing, thus enriching their academic and practical training. It is concluded that, for successful monitoring, it is necessary not only to develop specific programs that systematically collect data, but also to design educational strategies that motivate and train participants, strengthening their understanding of the importance of the health of ecosystems and their conservation.
Asterio Barbarú-GrajalesSandra Elizabeth Suárez-CedilloTannia Jazmín Vargas-TierrasKarel Ismar Acosta-Pérez

https://revista.isced-hbo.co.ao/ojs/index.php/rop/article/view/247

This article presents the results of the practical investigation of doctoral research with the participation of three teachers graduated in Educational Sciences in the area of Mathematics, the research had 110 students of the 10th grade of the Teacher Training School for primary education. The aim of this study is to improve Mathematical Communication (MC) in the Teaching Learning Process in the TLP. This study is qualitative, analytical-descriptive, which evidences a tool with an informative, relational and didactic dimension in order to offer quality learning in Mathematics, through the resolution of exercises and problems that leads to the understanding of the transfer of a natural communication (oral and written) to the symbolic, from there to the graphic and vice versa. It can be considered that the essence of the eductional, pedagogical and teaching-learning processes are communicative par excellence, which led the first author to investigate mathematical communication (MC), involving pedagogical communication and its antecedents and global perspectives. It is concluded that, in addition to the general conceptions that characterize education in the Republic of Angola, established from the normative documents, considerations about the (MC) are made in the TLP. The didactic strategy contributed to the improvement of the TLP in the school in question.
Claúdia de Fátima Likutu RaúlSilva Catela CalambaCândida da Glória Gabriel Domingos
